Since 2018 Clare has been writing music reviews of NZ and international artists for various music websites including NZ Musician Magazine, Muzic Net NZ and Radio 13 (now ceased). She has interviewed country star Tami Neilson, classical composer John Psathas and others and has her own classical music page titled Classical Chromatics.
Between 2019 and 2020 Clare had her own radio programme on PlanetFM broadcasting programmes of classical music under the moniker Classical Chromatics.
